Agency denies that Han So-hee lost contracts due to Ryu Jun-yeol relationship

9ato Entertainment shot down rumors that various brands had terminated advertising contracts with actor Han So-hee due to her relationship with fellow actor Ryu Jun-yeol, stating that the decision had been made before the dating news broke out.

“The allegations that actor Han So-hee’s advertisement contracts ended due to the recent issues surrounding the actor’s personal life are completely false,” the actor's agency told media outlets Wednesday.

“The agreement to end Han’s contract for beverage advertisement was made early this year, and for bank advertisement, toward the end of last year.”

Han's agency confirmed Wednesday that the actor's sponsorship deals with Lotte Chilsung Beverage, for the Chum Churum soju brand, and Nonghyup Bank had expired in March without renewal.

It had been speculated that Han's relationship with Ryu, first reported last Friday, had impacted the contract renewals. Ryu has been accused of “rebounding” — beginning to date Han while still in a relationship with a previous partner, singer and actor Hyeri. Han has denied those rumors.
