Yes, they're dating, so stop all the assumptions or legal measures will be taken — actor Ryu Jun-yeol's agency C-JeS Entertainment said on Saturday admitting his relationship with fellow actor Han So-hee.

"Ryu Jun-yeol and Han So-hee have developed a relationship since early this year after both people found that they felt the same," the agency said in a statement.

The agency emphasized that Ryu had met Han "after his break-up" with singer and actor Hyeri, whom he had been dating for seven years until last year, after rumors circulated online that Ryu had developed a relationship with Han before he broke up with Hyeri.

Earlier on Saturday, Han admitted to meeting Ryu in his photo exhibition in November 2023, but explained that Ryu's relationship with the former Girl's Day member had ended earlier that year and reports had only come out in November. Han posted a long online letter to her fans on her blog on Saturday morning, a day after her agency dismissed the news.

News of the new couple came Friday after an online user claimed that the two actors were seen together in Hawaii. Both actors' agencies refused to comment on the "rumors," but the situation quickly escalated when Hyeri posted an Instagram story with the caption "This is fun" and "unfollowed" Ryu's account.

Though the two had broken up, they kept following each other on Instagram.

Han reacted with her own Instagram post, saying, "I do not like anyone with a lover, nor do I give them space or interest in the name of ‘friendship,’ nor do I interfere with other people’s relationships.”

"We only wished to ask that the actor's private life be respected when we did not give an official comment on the unsolicited photo shoot and reports," C-JeS Entertainment said Saturday.

"The actor's human rights are being so damaged once more with unnecessary misunderstandings and speculations, just because [we] did not admit to dating. We emphasize that once again we will not respond to requests demanding a detailed probe into the actor's private lives, in order to protect his personal rights."

"We will take firm legal action against any further ungrounded speculations and rumor-mongers who harm the actor's reputation and person," added the agency.

Ryu shot to stardom through “Reply 1988” (2015-2016) while Han played the lead role in “Nevertheless” (2021). The two actors have both been offered roles for the upcoming drama series “Delusion,” an adaptation of a webtoon of the same name.
