70% of Local Gov"ts Did Not Make Additional Budget Measures
Approximately 70% of local governments have not made their additional implementation plans for their budgets. Accordingly the budget implementations for the year's flood damages and rising unemployment are being delayed.According to the National Budget Office on October 26, local governments which made supplemental budget plans among 248 local governments were no more than 75, just 30.2% of the total.
The reason for this inaction is that local parliaments could not pass the supplemental budget plans due to a shortage of tax revenues.
