Used Car Market Heating Up

The used car market is getting hot. The exports of used cars to China, Russia and Southeastern countries are increasing sharply, nowadays. And entrepreneurs who recently lost their former jobs are rushing to buy used transportation trucks to run their own businesses.
According to the Seoul City Car Trade Association on October 29, the sale of used cars in Seoul outnumbered the level of 10,000 units monthly from July to September. Especially, September recorded the all time largest number of units at 11,321.
The Ministry of Construction and Transportation announced that the exports of used cars in September increased by more than 200% compared to that of last year.
Meanwhile, the sales of used transportation trucks in September recorded 2,156 units, more than 1,000 units compared to that (1,338 units) of last year.
