JoongAng Ilbo No.1 both on Internet and in Print

JoongAng Ilbo is the number one news provider on the internet in the nation in all items.
Monthly 'Internet', an Internet magazine announced recently that JoongAng Ilbo Internet newspaper topped all others with a 31.2% share out of 6,555 peopled surveyed.
Chosun Ilbo was second with 28.2% followed by Dong-Ah Ilbo(11.4%)and Hangyoreh(7%).
JoongAng Ilbo also finished first in the number of visitors to their internet site in the past week with 51.2% of respondants followed by Chosun Ilbo with 47.1% while Dong-Ah marked 32.6%. JoongAng readers, showed a wide variety of ages, academic background, and income levels.
Among JoongAng 'clickers', people with graduate degrees were 50.6%, undergraduate readers were 43.3% surpassing rival Chosun Ilbo's 37.7% and 39% in the same categories.
On the other hand, male users totaled 81.2% of all internet usage while women users only reached 18.8%.
The Media Today, a weekly media watchdog newspaper, reported recently that JoongAng Ilbo is also the most widely read newspaper in Korea.
