New Taxi System for Kangdong

A district in Seoul announced on May 2 that it decided to introduce specially-designated taxis by appointing 100 taxis inside the district as KD taxis.
Kangdong District recently selected 100 up-to-date taxis driven by drivers who have never violated traffic laws and given them the title of KD Taxi.
KD Taxi is named after Japan's MK Taxi, a successful taxi company known for the kindness of its drivers. KD represents the initials of both the district Kangdong and 'Kind Driver'.
The characteristics of a KD taxi should be safety, kindness, and cleanliness. A KD taxi driver should drive carefully and not violate any laws nor refuse passengers. They should completely clean their taxis before operating it.
KD taxis can be distinguished from general taxis by their dark-green-colored logo on a white body. Drivers will wear a new uniform made up of a white shirt, dark blue trousers, and a dark blue neck tie.
