Breathalyzer Vending Machine to Be Avaiable
A vending machine which offers drivers the opportunity to conduct breathalyzer tests upon themselves will soon be unveiled. The company Item Bank announced Wednesday that it is launching the machine, with which drivers can self-administer a straw and balloon alcohol test, on June 25, at the cost of 1.32 million won per machine.
For five hundred won, the machine offers the straw which measures drunkenness in the same way as a police breathalyzer. Drivers are advised of their blood alcohol concentration through figures seen on the straw when it is blown into.
This device may be useful for those who have had a small number of drinks and are unsure if they are over the limit.
