Korea-Japan Cyber Community to Be Established

The Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) announced on December 27 that it will conduct a 'cyber community' project between Korea and Japan to promote civil exchanges between the two countries.
KOTRA plans to build an Internet site at www.superexpo.org, which will use an auto-translation system.
This plan is one of the results of last year's summit meeting between Korea and Japan where both countries agreed on annual events for the 2002 World Cup.
KOTRA will provide the site with various kinds of information on Korean industry, culture and sports, while establishing a bulletin board and chat rooms.
The operating company for the site, which will open on July 1, 2000, will be selected in January.
