Korean Traditonal Flute with Hwang Kyu-il

Nothing is better than the sweet sound of Korea's traditional large flute to beat the summer heat.

From September 4-7, Hwang Kyu-il will perform Korea's traditional large flute at the National Center for Korean Traditional Performing Arts. The title and sub-title of the performance are 'Hwang Kyu-il-3 Days of Beautiful Stories on Korean Traditional Large Flute' and 'The Journey of Bamboo Flute--the Dream That Leads You to the Forest.'

Hwang graduated from the Korean Traditional Performing Arts High School, Chugye University For The Arts, and currently is an instructor of the National Center for Korean Traditional Performing Arts.

Hwang was taught by famous Korean traditional flute players Kim Sung-jin and Seo Yong-suk for this performance. The first show starts from September 4 at 7:30 P.M.
