Data Base for Talented Persons to be Compiled
The Central Personnel Committee has decided to compile a 'data base of talented persons' which the government may utilize for selecting qualified individuals.The data base (DB) will gather a variety of information on over 45,000 people including high-ranking public officials, scholars, journalists, and judicial officers.
An official with the committee said that it will create the data base in order to aid the government in selecting individuals suitable for high-ranking posts.
The DB will cover 20,217 public officials above the fifth grade in the civil service, 2,000 directors from groups under the government's control, 4,600 members from 227 governemtal committees, and over 20,000 professionals and experts from the private sector.
The committee plans to collect pertinent information on individuals with their permission so as not to violate their privacy. Aside from those operating the DB, It will prohibit others from accessing the information.
