Producer Name for Bread Will be Required
Crown Bakery Co. announced on March 30, ' The company will introduce within the first half of this year a system of recording the company's name, date and time for bread in order to improve the freshness of the product.'The company intends to increase applicable products, if the customer response is good.
Following the move, other competitors including Shilla Bakery are considering the introduction of the same system.
The system of writing the details of producers is now being spread into many industries of confectionery, ramyon (a kind of Korean Noodle) and other foods.
Earlier, milk producers including Haitai and Seoul milk companies had introduced the system.
A source at the industry commented, ' The system is spreading, because the system makes the quality of the products more reliable.'
