Thriller / 135 min. / English -- Now playing

The Soviet Union built the nuclear-warhead submarine K-19 in 1961, during the Cold War. But the submarine was given the nickname "The Widowmaker" due to the harsh working conditions in building process.

Under huge expectations, the submarine takes off for its first mission, but quickly things go horribly wrong -- the nuclear reactor is not cooling properly, and radiation is leaking. If the problems escalate, they could lead to a devastating disaster.

Based (loosely, as always) on a true story.

Directed by Kathryn Bigelow ("Strange Days"), and starring Harrison Ford and Liam Neeson.
