Walk aimed at a successful G-20

In the hopes of Seoul and Korea successfully hosting the G-20 Summit in November, the Seoul Metropolitan Government, Korea JoongAng Daily and JoongAng Ilbo will host the Hi Seoul World Walking Festival 2010 in the heart of Seoul on Saturday and Sunday at 10 a.m.

Tomorrow’s two walking courses begin at Gwanghwamun Plaza in central Seoul. One will be a 13-kilometer (8 miles) route to Seoul Fortress and the other a 12kilometer route to Seoul’s cultural heritage sites. On Oct. 31, walkers will take a 12-kilometer route from Seoul Plaza to Cheonggye Stream and Seoul Forest. For more information, call (02) 512-2578.
