Korean wins in 1,500m speed skating final

Lee Ho-suk of Korea won the 1,500-meter short-track speed skating event at the 2010-2011 Essent ISU Speed Skating World Cup in Changchung, China yesterday.
On the second day of competition, Lee clocked in at 2:26.632 to place first in the 1,500-meter finals, his first international competition of the season.
Lee placed first overall with three gold medals at the 2010 World Championships in Sofia, Bulgaria in March.
Korea placed first in the men’s 5,000-meter relay and women’s 3,000-meter relay events in the semifinals.
