Daytime snowfall created a winter landscape yesterday, and it could turn roads icy this morning, as the temperature is expected to fall below 0 degrees Celsius.

The Korea Metrological Administration cautioned drivers and pedestrians yesterday to watch out for slippery roadways and pavements today.

The KMA issued a heavy snowfall warning yesterday with expectations of about 10 centimeters in the central regions of the peninsula through late last night. Snowfall will stop in most regions today. The KMA said the low in the central areas will range between minus 3 and minus 9 degrees today. “The cold weather will continue in the upcoming days,” the agency said.
