Two teams that haven’t lost in K-League play so far this season will try to continue their success in the fifth round of league matches this weekend.
Daejeon, the surprise K-League leader after four games, has showed balance on both offense and defense, scoring eight goals and conceding only two.
The team is led by Brazilian striker Qerino da Silva Wagner, who has netted four goals.
Meanwhile, last season’s runner-up, Jeju United, is rising fast thanks to a 2-1 come-from-behind win against Japanese club Gamba Osaka on Wednesday in AFC Champions League qualifiers.
Other games over the weekend include Suwon at Jeonbuk and Seoul will make a trip down to Busan.
