The Twins, currently second in the KBO standings, will travel to Busan to face the fast-rising Giants, who had the league’s best record (13-1-8) and batting average (.272) last month.

The Twins recently lost starting lefty Bong Jung-keun to an elbow injury, but they still have strong starting pitchers such as Park Hyun-joon, Benjamin Jukich and Radhames Liz.

Park, the KBO leader in wins with seven, will become the first pitcher this year to earn a win against all KBO clubs if he gets the victory against the Giants this weekend. Park hasn’t collected a win in his last two outings.

The Giants will match Park against Lee Dae-ho, who leads in three offensive categories - home runs (13), on-base percentage (.468) and slugging percentage (.635).

The Twins have a better head-to-head record, leading the Giants with six wins and two losses.
