2011.6.24 Weekend Picks: Basketball exhibition

Korea University and Yonsei University dominated during the heyday of Korean college and amateur basketball in the 1990s. And now some famous alumni from both universities will clash again in this special exhibition match sponsored by entertainment company CJ E&M.

The event organizers said that only retired players will be allowed to play. That means LG Sakers center Seo Jang-hoon (Yonsei) and Incheon ET Land Elephants point guard Shin Ki-sung (Korea University) will not play, but the two will battle it out on the microphone as special commentators for the game.

Former Yonsei point guard and KBL great Lee Sang-min came over from the United States to play this game, while former Korea University power forward Hyun Joo-yup is also expected to make a trip from U.S.
