The KBO regular season ended yesterday and the first round of playoffs begins tomorrow with the Tigers and Wyverns.
In this best-of-five series, the Wyverns have the home advantage and will host the first two games because it finished the regular season in third.
The Tigers are considered the stronger offense, led by outfielder Lee Yong-kyu, fourth in the league in batting average.
But the Wyverns have the better defense, with the league’s second best team ERA (3.59).
The Tigers are expected to start Yoon Suk-min who leads in ERA, strikeouts and wins in the league, while the Wyverns will start lefty ace Kim Kwang-hyun for the first game.
