Hanbul Motors recalling 310 Peugeots over wiring

Hanbul Motors, the local importer and distributor of French automaker PSA Peugeot Citroen, is recalling 310 Peugeot vehicles in Korea for faulty wiring that may cause the cars to suddenly shut down, the transportation ministry said yesterday.

According to the Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs, the vehicles have short battery cables that may become disconnected, causing a sudden shutdown of vehicles.

Vehicles subject to the recall are 310 units of the 207GT and 207CC passenger vehicles produced between Dec. 7, 2010, and April 19, 2011.
