“Due to having overworked myself, I had some pains in my jaw area. Thus I went to get surgery done on it. When I woke up after the operation, my jaw was broken and my mouth had shifted a few inches from the center,” said Oh.
The first operation was a major failure and at the recommendation of her doctor, Oh said she went abroad to the United States for a follow-up surgery.
“In the United States, they halted operating mid-surgery, saying that it was too risky. A few days later, they attempted again and it was a success,” said Oh.
“I just don’t want people to think that I had jaw realignment surgery. It wasn’t for cosmetic reasons, and I had a really difficult time.”
