T-ara to waive ticket costs for fans
Girl group T-ara has decided to refund the 10,000 won ($9) paid for seats at a fan meet scheduled for July 14. Core Contents Media announced Thursday that the group made the decision because it didn’t want the event to be a burden for fans.
“As it’s the first time that the group is meeting with fans since its debut some three years ago, the group thought the fans should just be able to come along and enjoy themselves without having to worry about money,” said a spokesperson from the agency.
The Hallyu group said the event will allow members of its fan club “Queen’s” to have fun, be treated to some great performances and learn more about the band.
Currently, the group is said to be preparing for the meet, which will consist of a mini-concert as well as a signing and a “hi-touch” event.
The group recently recruited two more members, bringing the number to nine. The agency introduced the new members individually, sparking much interest about newbies Areum and Dani.
