UIsan, Bunyodkor to meet tonight in semi

The Ulsan Tigers, the only Korean club left in the Asian Football Confederation Champions League, will play the first leg of the tournament semifinal against Bunyodkor at JAR Stadium in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, at 10 p.m. tonight, Korea Standard Time.

Ulsan beat Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia 5-0 on aggregate in the quarterfinals. Brazilian forward Rafinha and two Korea national team members Lee Keun-ho and Kim Shin-wook will lead the attack. Rafinha scored three times in the quarterfinals including the winner in the home game on Sept. 19.

Bunyodkor, who downed Adelaide United of Australia 5-4 on aggregate in the quarterfinals, has four national team members for the Central Asian country.

It is the second time the Tigers have advanced to the AFC Champions League semifinals since 2006. The club has never reached to the final. Seongnam Chunma, another K-League club, won the title in 2010.

The second leg will be held at Munsu Stadium in Ulsan on Oct. 31.
