T-ara’s Hyomin lands Japanese film role

테스트

T-ara’s Hyomin has landed a role in an upcoming Japanese film titled “Jinx.”
The movie will be the work of famed director Naoto Kumazawa, who is also behind “From Me to You,” “Romantic Prelude” and “Dive,” among others.

Hyomin will play one of the leads, a Korean exchange student in Japan, and will work with Japan’s Kurumi Shimizu and Kento Yamazaki.

Through her agency Core Contents Media, Hyomin said she was stoked at the chance to work with Kumazawa.

“It’s a bit nerve-wracking to think I’ll be the first Korean singer to take on a Japanese lead,” the 23-year-old said.

Filming will begin later this month, and the movie will open across Asia in the fall.
