G-Dragon invites world talent to tour

Big Bang’s leader G-Dragon has invited globally renowned concert directors to contribute their talents in his first solo concert in four years.

American choreographer and creative director Travis Payne will work with producer Stacy Walker for overall management of the concert. Payne produced Michael Jackson’s world tour “This Is It” with Walker as an assistant director.

Gil Smith, a music director who worked with several pop stars including Britney Spears, Chris Brown and Lil Wayne, will join the creative team for the upcoming concert, titled “One of a Kind.”

Michael Cotton, a stage designer who has arranged performances at Super Bowl games as well as Jackson’s world tour, will also join.

Also, visual aids for the concert will be directed by Los Angeles-based Possible Productions. It has worked with Jay-Z, Eminem and others, according to local media reports.

Big Bang’s tour will kick off in Seoul on March 30 for two days and move to Japan afterward.
