2NE1 displays its patriotism

To commemorate the 68th Liberation Day in Korea, several celebrities changed their profile photos on their social networking sites to include Korean national flags, including Sandara Park and CL of the girl group 2NE1.

Park put a photo of herself bracketed by two Korean flags, or Taegukgi, on her Twitter page. CL changed her profile photo on her Instagram to just a Taegukgi.

But Park isn’t getting too political. Last night, while on the KBS radio program “Yoo In-na’s Raise the Volume,” the singer described her current single status.

“I don’t have a boyfriend yet, but I’m waiting for the one destined for me,” she said.

“But I’m not in a hurry. I believe that he will come some day.”

She also said that people should not expect her to tackle sad or serious songs.

“I’m too cheerful and cute, which gets in the way when I try to sing a rather serious song,” she said.
