Dongbu Daewoo will begin selling refrigerators in Malaysia
Dongbu Daewoo Electronics said yesterday that it will start selling refrigerators at its factory in Malaysia this month. The company’s Malaysian factory is its sales base for Southeast Asia markets. The factory has focused on the sales of laundry machines and the company hopes the “diversification” of products will help accelerate the company’s entry into such untapped markets as Myanmar, Brunei, Laos and Cambodia.The Southeast Asia fridge market saw double-digit growth last year.
