Bom & Hi release 1st single
YG Entertainment’s new duo, Bom & Hi, comprised of Park Bom from the girl group 2NE1 and singer Lee Hi, released its first single yesterday.They kicked off the new group by tackling one of the biggest Christmas classics, Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas is You.”
While the original is an upbeat, uptempo number, Bom & Hi slow the song down and sing it in more of a jazz style.
The song was released yesterday by Samsung Music, Samsung Electronics’ attempt at creating a competitor to Apple’s iTunes. The song will be free to download on Samsung Music for three days before becoming available on the usual online music websites on Friday.
In addition to Bom & Hi, YG is also releasing a new song by Big Bang member Taeyang on Friday through Samsung Music.
