G-Dragon and Taeyang jet to Paris Fashion Week
G-Dragon and Taeyang of the boy group Big Bang left for Paris on Wednesday to be a part of Paris Fashion Week. But don’t get too excited -- the two stars are only going to watch the fashion event, not trot down the runway.Their agency, YG Entertainment, said that the two have already departed for the event, which ends on Sunday. The two members will browse the newest collections by well-known fashion houses and will leave the city on Monday.
It is not the first time the two have enjoyed Paris Fashion Week, which is one of the four major global fashion weeks, along with the ones in New York, London, and Milan.
G-Dragon and Taeyang have been known as fashion leaders in and out of Korea with their fashion sense by mixing and matching street fashion with high-end clothing. G-Dragon has collaborated with the luxury label Louis Vuitton to share his insights on fashion after the fashion label sponsored him in 2009, when he was debuting as a solo artist.
Meanwhile, members of the boy group will gather together in a concert soon, as they are scheduled to hold the “2014 BIGBANG +α IN SEOUL” concert from Jan. 24 to Jan. 26 in Seoul Olympic Park in southeastern Seoul.
