After wait, Lena Park to release album

After delaying the release date of her new album due to the Sewol ferry disaster, singer Park Jung-hyun, or Lena Park, finally confirmed she will unveil her latest album “Syncrofusion” on June 17, according to local reports yesterday.

“Syncrofusion,” a word created to describe the blending of various music genres and the mixing of the voices of many singers, is Park’s first attempt at a cheerful rhythm instead of the slow-tempo ballads she is famous for.

The album is in collaboration with Team89, a production team headed by singer Yoon Jong-shin, and is reportedly a combination of unique songs that maintain a high quality.

“Double Kiss,” the album’s lead track, will feature an electronic sound on top of rhythmic beats. Its music video is produced by director Moon Seung-jae, while dancer Lee Yong-woo, one of the contestants on Mnet’s dance survival show “Dancing 9,” will play the lead role.
