A comic book that tells the story of girl group Crayon Pop will be published on Thursday. The group’s agency, Chrome Entertainment, said that the comic book will go on sale on Coupang, an online discount store.
The tentative English name for the comic is “Let’s Go! Crayon Pop.”
The book will explain how the members of the group strived to gain wider public recognition even before they made an official debut.
The comic, made up of five books, will show how the members spent a year performing guerilla shows out on the street before being featured on major TV networks with their song “Bar Bar Bar.”
The comic is reported to include many moments the members didn’t get to share on TV shows to show their more candid side.
The members also included their own personal notes in the comic book to give something extra to fans.
