FSS decides it will punish executives in massive data leak
The Financial Supervisory Service yesterday decided to punish about 60 executives of four financial institutions responsible for the nation’s largest personal information data leaks that were found early this year. The FSS Sanctions Review Committee recommended the resignation of the CEO of Lotte Card and the company’s chief information security officer. Both have said they will resign. KB Kookmin Card was excluded from yesterday’s review, since the FSS is still investigating.
