[Sponsored Report] SK Telecom promotes trade via B2B platform

SK Telecom, the nation’s No.1 mobile carrier, plans to secure an online business-to-business (B2B) trading platform to invigorate cross-border trade.

Telecommunications and other digital devices have frequently been traded in and out of the country, but the market has so far lacked an adequate platform to facilitate such commerce.

The company’s B2B trading platform, due to open in April, will serve as a site for international trade. Items will include used and refurbished telecommunications devices, and SKT itself will sell network equipment and servers.

With the platform open only to registered members, the system will provide optimal trading opportunities for both buyers and sellers.

Buyers will benefit from improved cost competitiveness and the ability to purchase branded and original items from foreign markets.

They will also gain access to the outstanding sellers expected to participate in the trading process.

Sellers, on the other hand, will be able to diversify the channels through which they promote and provide their products. The platform also protects sellers from various payment risks.

In the end, however, it is the average consumer who will benefit the most, ultimately gaining access to high-quality products at more reasonable prices.
