Korea Judo Association appoints new president

The Korea Judo Association said Monday that it has appointed Kim Jin-do, head of the Gyeongbuk Judo Association, as its new president.

The position has been vacant since former president Nam Jong-hyun resigned after assaulting a local judo official in June.

Kim, 65, has been the vice president of the Korea Judo Association since 1997.
