Goyang Orions beat KU in pro-am tourney

The Goyang Orions won the Pro-Amateur Basketball Championship for the first time after beating defending champion Korea University.
At the Jamsil Students’ Gymnasium in Seoul on Saturday, the Orions defeated KU 93-68, thanks to center Lee Seung-hyun, who scored 25 points and grabbed seven rebounds against his alma mater. The 23-year-old won the championship with KU in 2013.
Lee was also named the tournament MVP, averaging 14.3 points, 5.8 rebounds and three assists per game. The tournament started with 10 professional clubs, five college teams and one military team.
