Singer Younha finishing up her new album

Female singer-songwriter Younha will release a new mini album in early November.

C9 Entertainment, the 27-year-old singer’s agency, said on Thursday that Younha is adding final touches to her upcoming album and is currently shooting a music video in Seoul.

The agency added that her title track will be a ballad song.

Although the singer’s last album came out about a year ago, Younha has been keeping her hands full in recent months. She appeared in the musical version of “Cinderella” in September and appeared in the drama series “Late Night Restaurant” from July to September.

After releasing the album, the singer will hold a concert titled “Final Fantasy” on Dec. 19 and 20 at Olympic Park in Bangyi-dong, southeastern Seoul.

Younha broke into the music scene in 2004 at the age of 16. Unlike other singers who begin in Korea and then advance to other countries, Younha began her singing career in Japan and then released a debut album here.

Since then, she remains one of the most successful female solo singers.

Her hits include “The Perfect Day to Say I Love You,” “Umbrella” and “Password 4869.”
