Ahn Hyun-hee, head of Korea Digital Multimedia Broadcasting, announces the launch of high-definition digital multimedia broadcasting services in Korea at the Press Center in Jung District, central Seoul, on Monday. Three digital multimedia broadcasting service providers, including YTN DMB and U1 Media, will now transmit broadcasting that is 12 times clearer than the current ones. Major broadcasting companies such as KBS, MBC and SBS are still deciding on when to provide such high-definition service. [NEWSIS]
