Raining on our parade


A royal procession called eogahaengnyeol, part of a ceremony honoring the kings and queens of the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910), passes through Gwanghwamun Square in central Seoul on Sunday. Over 1,000 people dressed as royal subjects, civil and military officials from the past walk from Gyeongbok Palace to Jongmyo Shrine, central Seoul, on the first Sunday of May every year.
