Volvo Korea to offer car part warranty for length of customer's life
Volvo Cars Korea introduced the industry's first parts warranty service guaranteed for a customer's life in a bid to strengthen its premium customer services on Monday.
For customers who changed parts after June 1, the company provides a lifetime auto parts warranty, regardless of how many times the customer has had their car serviced.
The Swedish automaker, which sold 10,570 vehicles last year in Korea, has been expanding its network to aim for a 25 percent increase in the number of service centers compared to the previous year. In the first half of the year the company has already opened three service centers in Pangyo and Uijeongbu in Gyeonggi and on Jeju Island.
“Volvo Cars Korea’s introduction of a lifetime warranty will dramatically decrease consumer concerns over the maintenance cost of an imported vehicle, as well as help them to enjoy the attractive features of Volvo cars for a long time,” Volvo Cars Korea CEO Lee Yoon-mo, said.
