Hanwha Techwin is introducing an updated surveillance camera to foreign markets.

Hanwha Techwin, a subsidiary of Hanwha Aerospace, announced on Thursday it will start selling Wisenet7 in overseas markets, including the United States, Europe and the Middle East.

The product, which was first rolled out in Korea in July, is embedded with a system-on-a-chip that is designed to improve video quality by capturing clear images even in situations without much light, or when the source of light is in the background. It also corrects shaky images, according to Hanwha Techwin.

The system-on-a-chip was developed by Hanwha Techwin.

The company will be focusing on online marketing in line with the contactless culture developing as a result of Covid-19. It is operating an online website that explains information on Wisenet7 in various languages, including English, Japanese and Vietnamese.

Hanwha Techwin will “lead the global security market through continuous development of technologies,” said a spokesperson for the company in a statement.
