Singer Ben will tie the knot with Lee Wook, the director of W-Foundation, a year after they went public with their relationship.

Ben posted a picture of her hand-written letter on Wednesday evening sharing the news on her social media account.

"As humble as I am, I have found someone who has promised to spend the rest of our lives together," she said in her letter.

"Neither of us are perfect, but we wish to live happily together — taking care of each other and looking out for each other."

According to the singer, the wedding will be held quietly and will be small in size due to the circumstances of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

"I sincerely thank everyone and the fans who have supported me through everything. I promise to return that love through good music," she said.

The couple met through a mutual acquaintance and admitted their relationship when reports surfaced in September last year.

Ben debuted in 2010 as a part of trio BeBe Mignon and released her first solo music in 2012. She has since continued to work on her own, flaunting her skilled vocals through hits like "Not Ok" (2016) and "Love, ing" (2018).

The W-Foundation is a nonprofit organization that launches various projects in collaboration with governmental bodies and other organizations that specialize in helping conserve nature and deal with the impact of climate change.
