Actor Kang So-ra is pregnant with her first child

Actor Kang So-ra is pregnant with her first child, according to her agency Plum Actors Thursday.

“Kang is currently happily and healthily pregnant," the agency said.

The news of her pregnancy arrived three months after the agency announced Kang’s marriage on Aug. 29. Due to the spread of Covid-19, the actor canceled her marriage ceremony and only hosted a small celebratory gathering. Her now-husband is not in the public eye.

Although the agency did not disclose her due date, other local media reports said it is April next year.

The 30-year-old actor debuted in 2009 through the film “4th Period Mystery” and rose to stardom through the 2011 film “Sunny.” Since then she has featured in various television drama series such as “Dream High 2” (2012) on KBS, “Ugly Alert” (2013) and “Doctor Stranger” (2014) on SBS and “Misaeng” (2014) on tvN. Her latest work was comedy film “Secret Zoo,” released in January.
