Second Eggslut branch opening in Yeouido

Eggslut’s second branch in Korea is opening Friday in Yeouido, western Seoul.

The Yeouido branch will be located on the first basement of The Hyundai Seoul, which is scheduled to open on the same day, according to its domestic partner SPC Samlip.

Eggslut, which started as a food truck in Los Angeles about 10 years ago, opened its first store in Korea in Coex, southern Seoul, last July.

The Yeouido branch will feature an open kitchen, which allows customers to watch staff preparing their orders. The Coex branch is similar.

Celebrating its second store open in Korea, Eggslut plans to launch a new limited-edition Lobster Avocado burger flavored with Sriracha source. Only 30 burgers are available per a day at each of the branches.

“Yeouido, which is the center of the country’s financial industry, is the best place to introduce Eggslut’s fine casual dining concept,” said a spokesperson for SPC Samlip.
