Singer-turned-actor Yim Si-wan donated 40 million won ($35,600) to youth in need, according to his agency Plum A&C on Tuesday.
 
The actor donated to the Community Chest of Korea on Tuesday, which marked his second donation this year after donating 20 million won in January.
 
This time, Yim requested his donation to be used for vocational training and financial support of children who have become too old for the foster care system or orphanages.
 
Yim is a member of the Honor Society, which is a club of people who have donated more than 100 million won to the Community Chest of Korea.
 
Yim debuted in 2010 as a member of boy band  ZE:A and started acting in 2012, taking on a role in the MBC series “The Moon Embracing the Sun.” He is best known for his roles in the film “The Attorney” (2013) and TV series “Misaeng: Incomplete Life” (2014).
