Netflix suspense thriller series 'The Frog' set to leap onto screens in August

“The Frog” is actor Kim’s first TV series in 17 years since MBC’s drama “Love Me When You Can” (2006-7).
Directed by Mo Wan-il, who took the helm of JTBC’s hit drama “The World of the Married” (2020), the series revolves around individuals getting involved in turmoil after a mysterious guest arrives in the middle of summer.
“Both works [‘The Frog’ and ‘The World of the Married’] felt like an intense rollercoaster ride, filled with breathtaking conflicts and surging emotions,” Director Mo said in a press release. “I was always on the edge of my seat while completing each scene, anxiously wondering how the story would unfold.”
The series’ trailer was also uploaded on Netflix’s YouTube channel on Friday.
