The National Research Institute of Cultural Heritage recently kicked off an online exhibit titled, “Traditional Materials Laboratory” with Daum Kakao Gallery. 
 
The exhibit demonstrates the production process of traditional materials including dancheong (traditional decorative coloring on wooden buildings) pigments, limestone and hanji, or Korean traditional paper. It illustrate how they are created and how they are used for the restoration of cultural heritage items today. [CULTURAL HERITAGE ADMINISTRATION]
