JW Marriott Hotel Seoul

Through Aug. 31: JW Marriott Hotel Seoul presents Bali in the City, a summer package featuring a surprise transformation created for guests unable to vacation abroad this year due to Covid-19 travel restrictions.

The seasonal package includes accommodation in a hotel room beautifully decorated to evoke a Balinese mood, plus welcome amenities of popular Indonesian snacks, two cans of Balinese beer, and a gift of two natural soaps by neBali Soap, featuring natural ingredients sourced from fruits, flowers and plants in Bali. Guests choosing suite accommodation, in addition to welcome amenities, are offered a sarong and bandana set, regularly priced at 57,000 won ($49.60), made by leading Korean batik brand Halobali and crafted from unique Indonesian batik techniques and materials, one 30 milliliter bottle of Baliflora perfume by Italian niche brand Laboratorio Olfattivo, featuring the iconic Indonesian flower frangipani, and a Radiance trial sample kit by luxury skincare brand Clé de Peau Beauté, designed to relieve skin dehydrated by the heat of summer.

Until Aug. 15, second-floor buffet restaurant Flavors will serve a Taste of Paradise menu featuring classic dishes from Indonesia, including Nasi Goreng, Satay Lilit and Ayam Blora, conjuring the ambience of a local Balinese resort dining experience. During the promotion, in-house guests and buffet restaurant guests with children will be offered coloring paper and a crayon set featuring images of a map of Indonesia and local animals, helping kids to learn more about Southeast Asia’s country while also having fun. The swimming pool in the hotel’s fitness center will feature a photo wall with a huge print of the St. Regis Bali hotel and near-life-sized model animals, evoking the feel of Indonesia.

This summer’s promotion is JW Marriott Hotel Seoul’s second overseas transformation. Last year, the hotel reinvented itself in the spirit of Thailand. JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort & Spa ran for a two-month period from October with the Enjoy Khao Lak in Seoul package receiving a sensational response. Building on this success, JW Marriott Hotel Seoul has created another unique experience for guests seeking a taste of overseas travel in a luxury urban hotel by transforming into one of Indonesia’s best-loved destinations. The Bali in the City package is priced from 289,000 won for a Deluxe Room and from 439,000 won for a Griffin Suite, excluding tax or service charge.
