Children's books by members of boy band TVXQ [SCREEN CAPTURE]

Children's books by members of boy band TVXQ [SCREEN CAPTURE]

Boy band TVXQ members U-Know Yunho and Max Changmin will publish children’s books as part of the show “Check This Out,” the show's co-producers TS Network and Grooopartners said Friday.

“Check This Out” is a project program in which the boy band meets up with four children to create children’s books. As a result of the project, U-Know Yunho and Max Changmin will respectively publish “I was the youngest one” and “All the friends I’ve met.” Members wrote the story and drew the illustrations.

The books will be available for sale from Oct. 20.

“Through this journey, we felt the childlike innocence in our hearts that we had forgotten about as adults,” TVXQ said. “We hope these books also make [readers] rediscover their childlike hearts.”

The process of the boy band members creating the books can be seen on “Check This Out,” which started airing on July 30. All episodes are available on the program’s website, while episodes one and two are also available on YouTube and Naver TV.
