While ruling Democratic Party presidential candidate Lee Jae-myung proposed to his rival Yoon Suk-yeol of the opposition People Power Party to have a TV debate on a weekly basis before the March 9 presidential election, Yoon wants Lee to accept the appointment of a special prosecutor to investigate the Daejang-dong development scandal, in which Lee may be directly or indirectly involved.
