After the representative of trainee doctors — who are on a walkout across the country to protest the government’s unilateral decision to raise the medical school admissions quota — filed a complaint with the Corruption Investigation Office for High-ranking Officials (CIO) about “the Ministry of Health and Welfare not recording its discussions with the Korean Medical Association” over the quota increase, the government has rebutted, saying that it has a record of the discussions.
